What is a good site to get linux software at?

Something like cnet, with ratings and etc?

Whenever I want a linux program, I end up having to sift through dozens of websites, making and uninstalling dozens of programs, before I find a decent user friendly interface. What is a good site to get linux software at?
The best way to download linux software is through your distributions built-in package manager. Without knowing your distro, I can't tell you the name, it could be Yum, Synaptic, Yast, or something eles.

It also it looks like you need assistance with finding the right application to use. I would recommend Linux app finder, which sorts popular linux apps by catagory and rates them too. The alternatives link will help you find Linux alternatives for popular Windows apps. What is a good site to get linux software at?
