What is a good book out there to learn a lot about how to use linux?

I recently have switched from Windows Vista to Ubuntu Linux. I want to know if there is a book out there on learning the commands and getting my way around and learning about linux. I really like it.What is a good book out there to learn a lot about how to use linux?
Ubuntu Toolbox is a good book: http://www.amazon.com/Ubuntu-Linux-Toolb鈥?/a>

Linux Bible is another: http://www.amazon.com/Linux-Bible-2010-o鈥?/a>

The Ubuntu Pocket Guide (Free PDF): http://www.ubuntupocketguide.com/index_m鈥?/a>

Also you will want to install Ubuntu Tweak and Ailurus which are programs that will help you out:

Open a terminal in input:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ailurus

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tualatrix/ppa

sudo apt-get update %26amp;%26amp; sudo apt-get install ailurus ubuntu-tweak

Look through http://www.ubuntugeek.com/ %26amp; http://ubuntuforums.org/

And also look through LXer (Linux News) which has tutorials and great info periodically: http://lxer.com/

Look through H-Online for IT security News : http://www.h-online.com/open/

Low Fat Linux (Free Linux Courses) http://lowfatlinux.com/What is a good book out there to learn a lot about how to use linux?
You will definitely be happy with Ubuntu. if you want to screw with people, download the freebie MAC4LIN, and Cairo dock, it makes your Ubuntu look like Snow Leonard..

I use WINE on my Ubuntu box to run Windows apps.. There is little I can on the Windows I can't do on Ubuntu better.

In terms of Books there are thousands on the market, My recommendation for a NOOB to the linux world it to go to Linuxtopia, this is a great compendium wiki of full documentation on many OS's ..

And read the Ubuntu Doc's on their website. What is a good book out there to learn a lot about how to use linux?
Nice, I did the exact same thing. My dad knows a ton about computers and he gave me the book called Unix system administration handbook by Evi Nemeth, Garth Snyder, Scott Seebass, and Trent R. Hein. I have been reading others online as well. The one I just mentioned is really good and friendly. One thing to note though is that they take time to read, unless you already know a butload. There is tons and tons of information.

Good luck.
